O.K., so here's the deal.....we're gonna have a baby boy any day now and I'm expecting the next couple of weeks are gonna be touch and go so I'm putting together a blog for two distinct reasons.
My wife, Lauren, and I have family all over the U.S. and some over seas and the arrival of our first born is highly anticipated. In the SHORT TERM, I am creating this blog so that I can make daily (or hourly) posts about the entire experience of labor, delivery and the eventual debut of our son for our family and peeps worldwide. Here you will find posts containing sickeningly cute photos or blurbs about every 'first' that will happen from here until he can start writing his own blog (or whatever the kids will be doing by the time he reaches literate age).
The truth is I really want to keep my family abreast of all the really important and interesting stuff but I am lazy and forgetful about sending emails to everyone each time I have a thought. I am hoping that this blog becomes the destination for those who are truly interested in photos (or videos) of my boy spitting up on cue.
For now, I have to go take care of my lovable and pregnant wife, put together yet another baby implement (you'd think we were having a litter of 8) and rummage through our last closet full of stuff we haven't used since last year.
